In my Contrapunto series, I meticulously engrave each distinct textural layer from Bach’s Two-Part Inventions onto one side of a plexiglass sheet, using the original sheet music as my guide. Each engraving highlights the interplay and independence of the voices, visually emphasizing the polyphonic fabric that defines Bach’s work.
