This series is inspired by Paul Klee’s “Rhythmisches” painting.
In this piece, I’m using the beginning of the third movement of Mozart’s Sonate in C major, K.545. The duration of each musical note or silence determines the wideness of each wood piece. The color of the edges depends on the heaviness of the beat (light or heavy beats).
I materialize time by transcribing sound into space.
